After competing in karts since he was four years old, Miles Maroney of Topanga, CA, has made the transition to cars in a big way. With several karting championships and wins on his resume, Maroney decided early on that the Pacific F2000 Championship would be the ideal arena to continue his racing career. However, he had not yet raced a formula car until the first round of the 2010 season at California Speedway earlier this month.

I will be making my debut in cars this weekend in the Pacific F2000 Series, running for PR1 Motorsports. I am very excited that I am being presented with this opportunity, and can't wait to get things underway on Friday.

As the 2010 season is just around the corner, I am working feverishly in an attempt to get a program together for this year. At the moment, I know where I would like to be, the Pacific F2000 series, but I lack the finances to do so.
